A jam is a quick fix, a burned-out motor is not. We tell you which before you buy a new unit.
A disposal that hums without spinning is almost always jammed, and a reset or clearing revives it. A tripped reset button, a leaky connection, or a stuck flywheel are all simple, low-cost repairs.
If it leaks from the bottom, the motor is dead, or it is rusted and years old, replacement wins. It is also a chance to step up to a quieter, higher-horsepower unit for a hard-working kitchen.
Most disposal calls around Vinings come down to a few familiar issues.
The flywheel is bound up. Caught early it is minor, but forcing the switch can fry the motor.

Usually. It is a short job, and with units on the truck we often wrap it on the first visit.
Rarely. A hum without spin means a jam, and clearing it brings most units back. A new one comes up only if the motor is gone.
The top flange, a hose fitting, or a cracked shell. We identify which and fix it.
Gladly. Bring your own or let us match one to your kitchen, and we install it.
Typically under an hour. Corroded old fittings add a few minutes, which we mention ahead of time.
